I already have a Tengu splitstaff that is an identical version of my zen splitstaff in every way except for the obvious fact that it has corruption on it instead of purity, so when I need corruption I can double up on it with that. I guess I will count on the fox's ability to apply corruption then. Thanks for the info.īut is a random element and has a small range. Just so ya know, Tengen Kujaku hits HARD period,Īnd there's what I've been missing. I've basically got the build being used by the guy in the video with a couple of very minor variations, like two of my soul cores are different (more suited to onmyo). Now, I get that the physical damage in the video is nothing to write home about, and the elemental damage is what's high, but if there isn't some way to enhance the power of the guardian spirit skill here (the +40 guardian skill damage abilities won't help here, there's something else I'm missing) then I don't see it being all that useful, cool as it is. I've seen videos of people doing tons of damage with guardian spirit skills, like Tengen Kujaku hitting for literally 10k damage Needless to say, this is wholly unacceptable. So, I've been playing this game for a while now, and just got a certain fox guardian spirit from the Darkness in the Capital DLC that I am really happy about, and his guardian spirit skill looks both very cool, and thematically appropriate for my build, but it ticks for about 80 points of damage on a skeleton. The blinding lightning surrounding them makes it difficult to make out their true shape.Īme-no-Mitori is one of the three starter Guardian Spirits alongside Makami and Kagewani. Ame-no-Mitori have been depicted as eagles, swans, cranes, and all manner of birds. It was also believed that thunderstorms helped rice crops flourish, further cementing the myth. An old legend states that it was these spirits that brought the first rice plants to Japan and protected the crops. They are also known as Ame-no-Hinatori or Takehinatori, and are seen as either a servant of the lightning gods or a lightning god itself. An eagle-like Guardian Spirit enveloped by lightning.
